HariManga (General Review)

HariManga is the ultimate nightmare for readers of the "Villainess" and "Otome Isekai" genres. They are the prime example of a group choosing quantity over quality. They mass-produce dozens of series daily, but it is blatantly obvious that there is absolutely zero human proofreading involved in their workflow. Why is it a terrible experience? • Google Translate Victims: Nuanced terms like royal titles or specific nobility ranks are brutally mistranslated by the machine, changing meanings in every chapter. A character can be a "Duke" in one chapter and suddenly become a "Manager" in the next. • Cleaning Fails: It is extremely common to see English text awkwardly slapped on top of the original Korean/Chinese text, or text overflowing the speech bubbles entirely. • Image Compression: They compress the already barely-readable translated images so much before uploading that you can literally count the pixels on the screen. If you don't want to ruin a perfectly good story, stay away from HariManga and support the official releases or dedicated human scanlation teams who actually respect the medium.
